MSR Pot Handle Safety Alert

MSR/Cascade Designs has alerted Spelean to a potential burn or scald hazard on certain MSR® Trail Lite™ and Reactor® camping cooking pots, sold individually and as part of sets, including Trail Lite cook sets, PocketRocket® cook kits, and Reactor stove systems between January 2008 and February 2024.
What’s the Hazard?
Some MSR cook pot handles can become loose or disengaged, potentially spilling contents, including hot liquids, and creating a burn hazard.
Which Products Are Affected?
MSR® Trail Lite™ and Reactor® camping cooking pots, sold individually and as part of sets, including Trail Lite cook sets, PocketRocket® cook kits, and Reactor stove systems. See the chart and images below to identify your cook pot.
